I find it interesting that the author is highlighting that this was a pastor that was involved in an investment scam – as if it’s somehow a knock on all pastors or perhaps on Christianity. If the man’s occupation had been – say – a ditch digger, then I doubt it would be newsworthy. It’s not that this story shouldn’t have a place in the Lionheart Group scam buster site, but it IS a shame that this particular story seems to knock people of faith. Does anyone else get that impression from this story? Or am I just being over sensitive?
